Coin collector fans of Wallace and Gromit are being teased by the Royal Mint about the possibility of a new coin.
2019 is the 30th anniversary of the very first Wallace and Gromit animation, “A Grand Day Out” – a commemorative coin must be on the way!
Should Wallace and Gromit feature on a new coin, expected to be a 50p, they will follow on from favourites Paddington Bear, the Gruffalo, Beatrix Potter characters and the Snowman.
As this trend continues who should be the next to feature on a commemorative coin?
