Students heading to university can get 20 per cent off books and stationery at TGJones until Sunday 18 October.
The retailer has temporarily doubled its usual student discount from 10 to 20 per cent, covering its full range of books and stationery both in-store and online.
Students shopping in-store simply need to show a valid form of student ID at the till to claim the discount.
Online shoppers can access the offer through a UNiDAYS account.
The 20 per cent discount can also be used alongside existing offers and promotions, although individual terms and exclusions may apply.
The enhanced offer will run until 18 October, after which the student discount will return to its standard rate of 10 per cent, which is available throughout the year.
Tom Keevill of TGJones said the promotion was intended to help students manage the costs associated with starting university.
“Heading to university or moving to a new accommodation can be a stressful and unsettling time for students,” he said.
“By enhancing our student discount to 20 per cent, we hope to make the move a little bit easier by helping prepare for the year ahead without having to break the budget.”
The retailer’s range includes university essentials such as notebooks, folders, pens, diaries, magazine files and book accessories, alongside its wider books and stationery selection.
TGJones has also recently introduced a kitchenware range in its stores, including cutlery, tea towels, pizza trays, chopping boards and frying pans.
The student discount is available until 18 October, before returning to 10 per cent.
