The update comes as seven new vaccination centres opened across England today, in an effort to meet the government target of 15 million people vaccinated by mid-February.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is set to give a press conference later this afternoon where he is expected to confirm these numbers during his update the country on the process of the vaccination rollout.
