Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a number of people following a series of break-ins at the Oasis Leisure Centre, in Swindon.
The two most recent incidents at the site happened over the weekend (19/06 and 20/06).
One 13-year-old and two 12-year-old boys were apprehended by our officers on Sunday and will be interviewed next week. We’re also investigating another break-in on Saturday.
We need you to help us identify four others who were captured on security cameras on Friday 11 June and Saturday 12 June (see attached photos).
PC Sarah Cooper, from the Swindon Neighbourhood Team, said: “There have been a number of break-ins at the Oasis since it closed last November and as a result, we have increased patrols in the area.
“We know that the building is being made more secure and our message is clear – stay away from the site.
“The building is unsafe and we’ll take action against anyone found to be causing damage to it or entering it.”
If you have any information which could help us to identify these people then please call us on 101 quoting crime reference 54210055377. Alternatively, you can report anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111.
