The case is currently being handled by detectives from Swindon CID.

Detective Sergeant Craig Rathbone, leading the inquiry, said: “We are taking this incident incredibly seriously and have already made three arrests in connection with it.

“I understand this will cause concern locally, but I want to reassure the community that this is being treated as a targeted incident that occurred within a private residence over the course of one evening.

“The victims are being supported by specially trained officers and our enquiries are ongoing.”

Police have not released further details at this stage, citing the sensitivity of the investigation and the ages of those involved.
