Ahead of Boris Johnson’s national address, which could see all schools close, Swindon Borough Council have issued the following update on which schools are closed in the Swindon area.
A Swindon Borough Council spokesperson said the Council “will continue to do everything possible to support schools in providing education to our children.”
Parents are reminded that schools will remain open for children of key workers.
Currently closed are:
- Beechcroft Infants (3 classes only)
- Eldene
- Even Swindon
- Oakhurst
- Grange Juniors
- Shaw Ridge
It is widely expected that all schools will be closed either immediately, or later this week, when the Prime Minisiter speaks at 8pm.
