Labour Party leader Keir Starmer has said said the “virus is clearly out of control” and is urging Boris Johnson to impose a national lockdown within the next 24 hours.
Boris Johnson announced in an interview with Andrew Marr this morning that further restrictions in England are likely in the coming weeks.
Mr Starmer said “There’s no good the Prime Minister hinting that further restrictions are coming into place in a week, or two or three.
“That delay has been the source of so many problems.
“So, I say bring in those restrictions now, national restrictions, within the next 24 hours. That has to be the first step towards controlling the virus.”
We should go in to lockdown to save lifes not wait 1week 2 weeks or 3 weeks do it now shut primary schools this must be done i have ill health im bringing up my 10 year old granddaughter im scared we will get it listen to the Labour leader u may not want to but he is speaking the right words stop this before its to late before u have blood on your hands sorry its worrying times now
I think that Boris Johnson pulls his head out of his arse and get the new Oxford vaccine into Swindon and the other arrears to slow down this new covid strand
