Wiltshire Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they would like to speak to following an assault in Swindon.
A supermarket delivery driver, aged in his 50s, was making a delivery in Ramsbury Avenue, Penhill, at approximately 1.20pm on June 12 when he was approached by a man.
The man assaulted the driver, verbally abusing him and then pushing him in the back. Fortunately, he wasn’t injured.
The man then left the scene heading south down Ramsbury Avenue. As he walked away he continued shouting at the driver.
He is described as white, aged in his early 50s, approximately 5 ft tall and balding. He was wearing glasses, black trousers and a dark green coat. It is believed he also had a tracheostomy and spoke with an electrolarynx.
The photograph is of a man police would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
It is believed that there was an elderly gentleman nearby at the time of the incident.
We’d urge anyone with information to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190056403.
