Work is now taking place back on the town centre side of the junction where the contractor is continuing to lay block paving. Work to remove the footpath on the MECA side will start next week and the paving will then be replaced. Pedestrians will be diverted to the pedestrian crossing or via Clarence Street.
Once the paving is complete, new signs, benches and bollards will be installed.
