Work to create a continuous bus lane from Commercial Road through Regent Circus continues on the MECA side of the road. The Council report that they have replaced the kerbs, drains and several manhole covers and installed a dropped kerb crossing point between MECA and Rudi’s.
During recent overnight closures the existing surface was removed, the road was resurfaced and some new road markings have been laid.
