Prospect Hospice is offering supporters the chance to sign up for its annual Starlight Walk at a reduced price as part of a special weekend flash sale.
The Swindon charity has announced that entry to the 2026 event will be available for £15 per person from 3pm on Friday, 29 May until midnight on Sunday, 31 May.
The discounted rate applies to both the 10-kilometre and 15-kilometre routes, giving participants the opportunity to take part in one of the hospice’s most popular fundraising events while saving on the standard ticket price.
Held each year, the Starlight Walk brings together hundreds of people from across Swindon and north east Wiltshire for an evening walk in support of the hospice’s work.
Many participants walk in memory of loved ones, while others take part to celebrate life, support local healthcare services or enjoy a community event with friends and family.
Ben Lee, Head of Relationship Fundraising at Prospect Hospice, said the event continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many local people.
“The Starlight Walk is a really special event for our community, and this flash sale is a great opportunity for even more people to get involved,” he said.
“Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special or just looking for a fun and meaningful night out, every £15 raised through sign-ups helps us continue providing compassionate hospice care for local families.”
Funds raised from the event help Prospect Hospice provide palliative and end-of-life care, family support services and bereavement counselling across the region.
The charity provides these services free of charge to patients and families, relying heavily on fundraising events and community donations to continue its work.
Organisers are encouraging anyone interested in taking part to register before the offer ends, with ticket prices due to return to their normal rate after the weekend.
Those wishing to take advantage of the flash sale can register online through Prospect Hospice’s Starlight Walk booking page.
