Police Appeal for Witnesses After Man Stabbed at Swindon Rugby Club

A police investigation is underway after a man was stabbed at a rugby club in Swindon on Monday afternoon.

Officers from Wiltshire Police were called to an incident at a rugby club on Greenbridge Road at around 3.55pm on 9 June following reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed.

Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Police have since confirmed that he has been discharged.

A cordon was put in place at the rugby club while officers carried out enquiries, although the scene has now been lifted.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident have not yet been released, and police have not confirmed whether any arrests have been made.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw any altercation in the area before the stabbing, to come forward.
