A man has died following a road traffic collision that took place at about 1 pm on Friday on Marlborough Road in Swindon.
Tariq Hussain, 59, from Swindon was out running and was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road.
He was taken to Great Western Hospital where sadly his death was later confirmed.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and helped with police enquiries and is being treated as a witness.
Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends.
We would ask that the privacy of the man’s family is respected at this difficult time.
