“Longleat is predominantly an outdoor attraction and we are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by glorious Lancelet ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland and open spaces.

“Our internationally-renowned drive-through Safari Park allows visitors to enjoy very close encounters with a huge variety of beautiful animals in a natural setting from the comfort of their own vehicle.

“All of our staff and many of our animal residents; particularly the monkeys, have missed the chance to interact with people.

“Lockdown has been a huge challenge for us all and we are delighted to offer a welcome escape and the opportunity for people to relax and enjoy themselves again,” he added.

Many of the food and retail outlets will be reopening, however, Longleat House and some of the indoor attractions will initially remain closed.

There will be a limit on the daily capacity to allow for social distancing measures. All visitors will need to pre-book online prior to arrival. Places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Special park capacity is also set aside for Annual Pass holders who will also need to book with a £1 booking fee. All monies raised by Annual Pass holder bookings will be donated to charitable causes.
