Swindon’s St Benedict Beer & Cider Festival is set to return this July with a packed programme that builds on the success of its first outing last year.
Taking place across Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2026 at St Mark’s Church in Swindon New Town, the two-day event promises a lively mix of drinks, music and food, all set within the church’s hall and grounds.

Festivalgoers can expect a carefully selected range of 20 beers and ciders, offering a variety of flavours to suit both seasoned drinkers and those simply looking to try something new. Alongside this, a full line-up of live entertainment and street food will run across both days.
Friday begins at 4pm, with live music from 6pm provided by local ukulele covers band What the Pluck. Food will be available throughout the evening from Get Battered, adding to what organisers hope will be a relaxed start to the weekend.
Saturday picks up from midday and carries through to 10pm, with a country theme taking centre stage in the evening. Kelly Sings Country returns by popular demand from 6pm, with line dancing expected to bring a lively atmosphere to the churchyard. Goose Catering will be on hand to keep visitors well fed throughout the day.
Tickets are priced at £12 per day or £20 for the full weekend, with each ticket including a festival glass and a first drink. CAMRA members will also receive an additional complimentary drink. The bar will operate on a token system, with drinks priced at £2 per token. Tickets are available here.
Set against the backdrop of one of Swindon’s most recognisable historic buildings, the festival continues to offer a blend of heritage and community spirit, giving people a reason to come together for a summer weekend.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses looking to support the event while gaining visibility within the community.
