Iceland is currently offering NHS workers, police and the armed forces a discount on purchases made in its food stores in Havelock Street, Cricklade Road and also the Food Warehouse at Barnfield.
The frozen food store is saying thank you to those who work in the emergency services by giving them a huge 20% discount off their shop.
The offer is valid until Monday October 21st and applies to all those working for the NHS, police, fire service, ambulance, HM Coastguard, RNLI and all of the Armed Forces.
Sir Malcolm Walker, Iceland’s founder, said: “Like everyone else, I am in awe of the amazing work undertaken by our emergency services and armed forces each and every day of the year. They are the people we all rely on when the going gets too tough for the rest of us.
“So we’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all those whose work is dedicated to saving and protecting the lives of others, whether that is in the ambulance service or the wider NHS, the police, fire service, HM Coastguard, and the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. Plus the volunteers who readily respond to our emergency calls in the RNLI and Mountain Rescue teams.”
To get the discount you will need to show your ID in store.
