Brighter Futures are on the look out for people that are looking for some fitness inspiration during the lockdown and who are willing to help raise funds for the Great Western Hospital’s Dementia Appeal.
The charity are setting the challenge for you to ‘walk, jog or skip 10,000 steps for a whole month and raise funds for our Dementia Appeal.’
Based on the average person’s stride 10,000 steps will be around 5 miles, meaning you will cover at least 155 miles throughout a month. What a great way to kick start a new healthy regime.
Participants can sign up for the month of February or the length of lockdown and if there is a hospital ward or department that is close to your heart you can request any funds you raise go to that area if you so wish.
Head to the Brighter Futures appeal page and click on ‘fundraise for us’ to set up your fundraising page.
