Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was assaulted at a play park near Swindon Designer Outlet.
The incident happened at around 1.45pm on Saturday 10 May at the play area close to the outlet village’s main entrance.
Wiltshire Police said the boy suffered facial injuries following an alleged assault involving a group of boys. It is believed the incident took place near the slide within the play park.
Officers are now urging anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened to come forward.
The play park, which is often busy with families during weekends and school holidays, sits near one of the main access points to the shopping centre and can attract large numbers of visitors throughout the day.
Police have not released further details about those believed to have been involved but say enquiries are continuing.
