Four hundred of the officially un-circulated 2019 Peter Rabbit 50p coins have been put into circulation by the team at The Great British Coin Hunt meaning if you find one in your change you should look to keep hold of it.
The Royal Mint released a special edition 2019 Peter Rabbit coin earlier this year which was not supposed to enter general circulation. That is until the first of the coins were used to pay for parking in a Devon car park last week.
Ian Lambert who runs The Great British Coin Hunt has released the first 20 locations of where the coins have been put into circulation in the video above and will be continuing to update the whereabouts of the Peter Rabbit coins on their YouTube Channel here.
The un-circulated 2019 coins can bought from the Royal Mint for £10. The Royal Mint says: “The Peter Rabbit 2019 coin is a commemorative only coin. These will not be entering general circulation.”
