Back in July of 1990, Mars made the decision to rebrand the popular chocolate bar Marathon to Snickers.
Well fans of nostalgia will be happy to know the chocolate bars will once again called by their former name Marathon in a temporary rebrand.
This rebrand will see Marathon bars being on sale in Morrisons supermarkets as a four pack for £1, but, only for the next three months!
Gemma Buggins, Snickers brand manager explained to the Mail on Sunday that the change is to celebrate 85 years of Mars making chocolate in the UK.
“Bringing the Marathon bar branding back for a limited time really was a no-brainer,” she said.
“It’s a great way to celebrate more than 85 years of Mars making chocolate in the UK and we hope this serves as a wonderful treat for fans of Snickers who remember when it was called Marathon.”
Do you prefer the name Marathon or Snickers?
