Work to widen the path/cycleway along Great Western Way (B4006) alongside B&Q is progressing well and should be complete within the next four weeks. There are plans to close one lane between Barnfield Roundabout and Galton Way (eastbound) for one week during the February half-term to minimise disruption.
Pedestrians and cyclists are being diverted to the path on the south side of Great Western Way, by using a temporary traffic light crossing at Barnfield Roundabout and the permanent crossing at Bruce Street Bridges.
