Swindon Wildcats have just announced ‘A Day In The Skates’ with the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey team, which promises to be team building with an edge! This is an opportunity for you and your staff to do something truly unique and beneficial. The ‘A Day In The Skates’ programme is designed to bring teams closer together and increase productivity in the workplace. Quite possibly one of the most exciting corporate days in the country, we will take up to 8 teams of 10 who will enter the life of a professional sports team working with their very own assigned ice hockey player. Each team walks into find their named and company branded shirt hung in their changing room which they will be able to keep as a reminder of their day.

The day is open to people of all abilities and skating backgrounds. Individuals will be taught to skate, play hockey, give team talks and enter an ice hockey tournament where they will be playing for the honour of their company. There will be an introduction by the Wildcats Head Coach Aaron Nell and a special closing ceremony speech by Owner & Managing Director, Steve Nell. The day will also feature inspirational guest speakers giving motivational talks. This exciting and intense day focuses on teamwork and leadership addressing some key employability values throughout the day.

‘A Day In The Skates’ will be taking place on Monday 3rd July, and they are now taking bookings for teams of up to 10. For companies with less than 10 employees we are also allowing all-star teams, which will be made up of individual applicants. The day includes all food, drinks, snacks, a professional Wildcats player as a mentor for the day, a printed event programme 2 weeks prior to the day and a named and branded jersey. All ice hockey kit will be provided.
