Lace up your skates, grab your stick, and hit the ice!
Junior Learn to Play sessions cater to children aged 4 to 15 years old, providing a safe and nurturing environment for young players to learn and grow in the sport. Sessions take place every Friday from 6:15pm to 7:15pm, offering a structured and engaging program under the guidance of experienced coaches.
While children must have their own skates (skate hire is not available), the program provides loan equipment including helmets, sticks, and gloves for the initial sessions. It’s mandatory for participants to wear neck guards, which can be purchased through the onsite shop.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, each child must have a filled drinks bottle clearly named. While proficiency in skating is not required, participants should be able to move forward on the ice unaided.
Sessions must be booked in advance online, with payments made through the designated platform. Please note that bookings and payments cannot be made in person at the rink.
Join Swindon’s Learn to Play Ice Hockey program and embark on an exciting journey in the exhilarating sport of ice hockey.
