The Swindonian are hearing this afternoon that Lee Power is expecting to move quickly to fill the managerial position at The County Ground by appointing ex Oldham Athletic manager Richie Wellens.
It is also understood Noel Hunt will be appointed as his assistant.
Wellens was installed as the early favourite to be named as Town’s new boss when priced up at 1/5 by Skybet on Sunday evening.
We are awaiting official confirmation from the club.
