Every year we get at least one email asking us when the clocks are going to change and again this year it is no different.
Twice a year we change our clocks by one hour – giving us an extra hour of daylight in the summer evenings and lighter mornings for the colder autumn months.

This year the clocks will go back one hour on Sunday 28th October at 2am taking us back to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
The EU Commission is proposing to end the practice of adjusting clocks by an hour in spring and autumn after a survey found most Europeans opposed it.
