Christmas Day has been and gone and you’ve probably eaten way to much food and downed too much booze but despite you indulging for another few days over the New Year, Christmas is all over for another year.
When is the right time to take all of your twinkling sparkly decorations down?
Many people believe you should take down your Christmas tree and decorations on the 12th day of Christmas, the Epiphany, which is officially the end of the festive season.
What is the Epiphany?
The Epiphany means different things depending on what church you follow.
The Western Church began following the Epiphany in the 4th century and it is said to be the day when the three wise men were led by the star to visit baby Jesus in Bethlehem.
That day always falls on January 6th, which this year is a Monday.
