How is isolation treating you? Finished your Netflix binge, cleaned the house two times over and now need something new to keep you busy?
Well if you own an iPhone we have something for you.
OK, it will get boring after probably the second or third text, but, did you know you can text “pew pew” to your other iPhone owning friends and send them a little laser show.
This must be a sign that cabin fever is setting in!
Before we get a grilling in the comments, we know iPhone users have probably been able to do this for some time – we have just never been bored enough to find it!
iMessage has a number of other hidden screen effects that you may or not have already stumbled across:
balloons float up from the bottom of the screen if you wish someone a “happy birthday”,
fireworks will burst across the message if you say “happy new year”
colourful confetti falls if you type “congratulations”
more fireworks if you say “happy Chinese new year”
