With more and more people turning to online shopping amid the Covid-19 crisis an opportunity for more weird and wonderful ‘substitute items’ has arisen.
Unless you forget to switch the option off at checkout, supermarkets can offer customers substitutes when their selected item is not in stock.
We are not complaining, the door-to-door service has been a lifeline for many that have been self-isolating throughout the pandemic, but we want to see what oddities you have been sent.
So far we have seen felt tip pens sent instead of blank A4 paper, gravy granules instead of AA batteries, and instead of receiving Kitty Kat, one shooper was sent a Kit-Kat!
