Two people arrested following the shooting in Gorse Hill last month have been released without any further action, Wiltshire Police have confirmed.
A 16-year-old boy and a 33-year-old man were arrested shortly after the incident on 19 June on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession with intent to supply nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation.
Following further enquiries, detectives have confirmed that no further action will be taken against either individual.
The wider investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
Two men have already been charged with attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Swindon Crown Court on 24 July.
Police enquiries also continue in relation to four other suspects who remain on police bail.
They include a 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, a 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and being concerned in the supply of Class C drugs, a 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and a 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Wiltshire Police are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may be able to assist the investigation.
