Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were arrested following a disorder in East Wichel last week.
Last Thursday at approximately 2.30pm, it is reported that a 16-year-old was threatened with a knife before having an e-scooter stolen at Wichelstowe Ponds.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, public order and theft offences. One has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries, while the other has been released under investigation.
Enquiries lead officers to believe there was a large gathering of young people at the location at the time of the incident.
We’d like to hear from any witnesses who can assist officers with their enquiries, particularly anyone who captured the altercation on their mobile phone.
