Three people plead guilty to offences related to Lacock hunt

Three people have today appeared in Salisbury Magistrates Court following disorder at the Avon Vale Hunt in Lacock on December 27th, 2021.

Callum James Lewis, 26, of Wood Lane, Chippenham, pleaded guilty to using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.

He was given a £554 fine, ordered to pay a £54 surcharge and £85 costs.

Evan Scott Lorne, 18, of The Lye, Seend, pleaded guilty to using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.

He was given a £200 fine, ordered to pay £43 surcharge and £390 costs.

William Richard Renny, 30, of Flint Crescent, Westbury, pleaded guilty to using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.

He was fined £538 and ordered to pay a £54 surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Purbrick, 59, of Woodland View, Dilton Marsh, and Adrian Earl, 53, of Quemerford, Calne, are also due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on April 13th in connection with the same incident. They have not yet entered pleas.
