It’s really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas now! Pupils at Lawn Manor Academy enjoyed their school Christmas lunch in Lawn Manor’s traditional way – being waited on by their teachers.
Deputy Headteacher Justin Delap and Assistant Headteacher Helga Maddock were among the senior leadership team members who donned their Christmas jumpers to spread some yuletide spirit as the pupils prepared to head off for the holiday break.
Headteacher Sandra Muir said having a celebratory lunch served by the teachers is a ritual that pupils really appreciate.
“They think it’s quite a giggle that the senior leadership team do the dishing up, but our young people deserve some light relief more than ever this year,” said Mrs Muir.
“It’s been a long term and a long year, and everyone’s looking forward to some rest over the break, and like everyone we’re hoping that 2022 will eventually bring some more normality to our lives. We’re wishing our pupils, their families, all members of staff and the lovely community we serve a very safe and peaceful Christmas.”
