Swindon’s Prime Theatre are collaborating with leading Deaf children’s theatre company, Handprint Theatre, to run a FREE Arts Award workshop for Deaf young people and their (Deaf and hearing) families.
Alex and Kelsey from Handprint Theatre will be running an online Zoom session this Saturday 20th February from 11-1230 which promises to be a fun-filled 90 minutes of BSL-accessible drama games and activities.
Young deaf people and their families are invited to join in and have fun exploring how to tell visual stories using gesture, sign and iconic sign.
All young people who participate will receive a Discover Arts Award certificate.
Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification in the Arts, awarded by Trinity College.
Discover is the first level of the award. Arts Awards are non-competitive. They don’t measure or compare creativity. They celebrate you, your imagination and your effort for simply having a go!
