A Swindon event production company is continuing its rise on the national and international stage after delivering a major conference for one of the world’s best-known drinks businesses.
Costello Production Group (CPG), founded in Swindon in 2021, was selected to provide the full technical production for Carlsberg Britvic’s first employee conference following the company’s formation in January 2025.
More than 700 employees attended the event, which brought colleagues together to share the organisation’s vision, strategy and achievements. CPG was responsible for every aspect of the conference’s technical delivery, including staging, lighting, sound, live camera operation and a striking 20-metre LED video wall.
The Swindon firm worked closely with event organisers and senior stakeholders to ensure the production matched the scale and ambition of the occasion.
Vicky Gregory, Head of Brands and Corporate Communications at Carlsberg Britvic, praised the company’s work.
She said: “Creating a strong and lasting impression from the moment our delegates arrived was essential and CPG were exceptional from start to finish.
“From initial concept and design through to delivery, the service provided was impeccable. The team demonstrated real flexibility and took time to fully understand our objectives, ensuring the solutions they delivered were perfectly aligned to our needs. Delegate feedback has been extremely positive, with many commenting on how spectacular the conference was. The expertise, professionalism and commitment of the CPG team was a key driver to the overall success of our conference.”
The project is the latest milestone for the Swindon-based business, which has steadily built a reputation for delivering high-quality live events across the UK.
Alongside its work for Carlsberg Britvic, CPG has delivered production services for the Society of Acute Medicine, worked in partnership with emc3 on behalf of the British Society of Rheumatology, and supported a range of community events for organisations including Create Studios and Prospect Hospice.
Founded by Evan Costello, the business has grown from a start-up into a team of project managers, production managers, designers and audiovisual technicians. Continued investment in equipment and technology has enabled the company to take on increasingly ambitious productions while maintaining the hands-on approach on which it has built its reputation.
With demand for live and hybrid events continuing to grow, the company says it plans to expand further through investment in new technology, equipment and staff.
Founder Evan Costello said: “Our focus has always been on providing event production that feels effortless for our clients.
“Working with global organisations such as Carlsberg Britvic reflects the progress we’ve made as a business and the trust placed in our team. We’re excited to see what the future holds.”
For a company that began just four years ago, securing projects for household names is another sign that Swindon’s business community continues to produce firms capable of competing on a much larger stage, while remaining firmly rooted in the town where they started.
