Your Holiday Starts Now

Reducing the further spread and the prospect of additional restrictions potentially being imposed on Swindon depends on our actions in the days ahead.

Updated Christmas rules announced by the Prime Minister last weekend mean households may see a maximum of two other households on Christmas Day only.

It’s up to all of us to minimise the extra burden on our local health services: protecting hospital beds and capacity to provide the medical care and treatment we depend on.

One in three people who have COVID-19 don’t show symptoms but can still pass on the virus. That’s why we must maintain taking these actions to protect each other:

  • Wash hands: keep washing your hands regularly
  • Cover face: wear a face covering in enclosed spaces
  • Make space: stay at least 2 metres apart – or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions

Anyone with coronavirus symptoms should self-isolate and book a test. Testing will be available at our three sites in Swindon throughout the Christmas period.
