Police are appealing for information after a yellow dumper truck was stolen from a building site in Swindon.
At around 8.55pm on Friday 6th April, a yellow three ton Thwaites dumper truck was taken from a site on Linden Avenue.
The truck was then driven along Pinehurst Road and into Medlar Court in Pinehurst. It struck a number of parked vehicles causing substantial damage. Fortunately, nobody was injured as a result.
The vehicle was then driven across playing fields and abandoned on the green fields close to Tovey Road, where a number of people were seen running from the scene.
