Burger lovers won’t have to look far for their next fix as SoBe Burger opens its doors in Swindon’s Old Town later this week – and the first customers in the queue will be rewarded with a free meal.
The London-born, Miami-inspired burger brand will officially launch its newest restaurant at 29C Wood Street on Thursday, 30 July, promising an afternoon of food, music and opening-day celebrations.
From 4pm, the first 100 customers through the doors will receive a free burger, while a live DJ will provide the soundtrack to the launch. Visitors will also have the chance to spin a prize wheel to win discounts, giveaways and other prizes.
The celebrations don’t stop there. Diners can also enjoy 50 per cent off the entire eat-in menu during the opening promotion, which runs until 2 August.
Founded in London in 2019, SoBe – short for South Beach, Miami – has built a reputation for its freshly cooked smash burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries and house-made sauces. The company has expanded rapidly across the UK and now operates 18 restaurants alongside more than 220 delivery locations.
Among the highlights on the menu is the Double Bacon Black Garlic, recently named a finalist in the National Burger Awards. The burger features two beef patties, cheese, black coffee bacon jam, crispy bacon, black garlic mayonnaise, pickled onion, crispy onions and chives.
Other favourites include the Confit Garlic Cheeseburger, topped with creamy confit garlic mayonnaise and crispy onions, and the OG Chicken Burger, featuring golden fried chicken, lettuce, house mayonnaise and pickles.
The restaurant will be open daily from 11am until 10pm, with takeaway and home delivery available through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
With free food, live entertainment and generous opening offers, the new arrival is expected to draw plenty of interest as it joins Swindon’s growing independent and national food scene.
