Ever since the coronavirus outbreak first swept the country early in 2020, businesses throughout Swindon have stepped up to help out the local community – now two weeks into the third national lockdown – which will be with us for at least a few more weeks, we want to hear about your high street heroes.
From the local taxi company driving the elderly and vulnerable to their Covid-19 vaccination appointments for free to the town centre Italian restaurant giving free pizzas to everyone on their social media post instead of the original three pizzas it was offering and all the Swindon businesses in between – butchers, sandwich shops, cafes, its up to you.
We want to celebrates your high street heroes that have kept Swindonians smiling throughout lockdown.
Send us your nomination with as much detail as possible and we will share as many as we can.
Whilst we continue through the third national lockdown remember, shoppers need local businesses as much as local businesses need our custom – its easy to shop online at one of the big nationals but it is appreciated so much more from one of the small local businesses.
