Three moped riders have been fined by magistrates for riding without licences and insurance in Pinehurst.
Swindon Magistrates fined all three local men last Thursday – 15 November – after they were caught riding mopeds anti-socially in the car park next to Liquor World, White Beam Court, Pinehurst in April 2018.

Mason Swain (18) of no-fixed address, who was also convicted of riding without a helmet and riding without due care and attention, was fined £1320, ordered to pay costs of £151 and and given nine points.
PC Nick Payne said: “This is a good result, hopefully sending the message to anyone who chooses to ride illegally that you will face a substantial penalty. I also hope it reassures people living in Pinehurst that this type of behaviour won’t be tolerated and those responsible will be punished.
“I would encourage anyone who experiences any anti-social behaviour in their area to report it to us on 101 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
