World-renowned mountaineer Kenton Cool, who has reached the summit of Mount Everest an incredible 20 times, is heading to the Cotswolds next month for a special charity evening supporting young people across Swindon, Wiltshire and Somerset.
The record-breaking climber will be the guest speaker at the Youth Adventure Trust’s annual Adventure Dinner on Friday 13th November 2026, taking place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park.
The evening will bring together businesses from across the region for a night of networking, fundraising and inspirational stories, with the charity hoping to raise vital funds to continue its work with vulnerable young people.
Kenton Cool has built an extraordinary career tackling some of the world’s most challenging mountains. Having stood on the summit of Everest 20 times, he knows a thing or two about dealing with pressure, making difficult decisions and overcoming seemingly impossible challenges.
At the dinner, he will share some of those experiences and explain how lessons learnt thousands of metres above sea level can be applied to the everyday challenges faced by businesses and their leaders.
But while Kenton might be the headline attraction, another speaker is likely to leave just as lasting an impression.
Guests will also hear from a young person who has completed the Youth Adventure Trust’s outdoor adventure and mentoring programmes, sharing their own experiences and the difference the charity has made to their life.
The Youth Adventure Trust works with vulnerable young people aged between 11 and 15, using outdoor activities and long-term support to help them grow in confidence, develop important life skills and build the resilience needed to tackle challenges at home, at school and beyond.
For businesses attending, the dinner offers an opportunity to see first-hand where their support goes and how it can make a genuine difference to young people living in their own communities.
Mark Davey, CEO of the Youth Adventure Trust, said:
“We are thrilled to bring Kenton Cool and one of our amazing young ambassadors together on stage. While Kenton brings world-class perspectives on leadership and resilience, our young speaker provides the true heart of the evening – showing local businesses the direct, life-changing impact their support creates right here in our community.
“With fantastic companies already joining us in the room, it’s set to be an unmissable night. We have just a handful of tables remaining, so we encourage businesses to reserve their spot quickly.”
With several regional businesses already signed up, organisers say there are now only a handful of tables remaining.
As well as hearing from the two speakers, guests will have the chance to meet other local business owners, entertain clients or simply enjoy an evening out with colleagues while supporting a worthwhile cause.
