Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were threatened during a robbery in Swindon’s Spring Gardens.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Wednesday, 15 July, when two men in their 20s were sitting on a bench in Spring Gardens, to the rear of Halfords on Fleming Way.
A man approached the pair and threatened to stab them if they did not hand over their belongings. Although no weapon was seen, the two men feared they would be attacked and handed over their mobile phones, a wallet and a watch.
The suspect then ran away from the scene in the direction of Princes Street.
Police have described the suspect as a man wearing a black balaclava, large black coat, black trousers and black shoes.
Officers are now asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident, the suspect or anything else that could assist the investigation to come forward.
