Swindonians should make the most of the mild weather we currently have as it is expected to come to a sudden halt as we approach the end of the week.
Temperatures are expected to go from 16 degrees on Wednesday to a very chilly seven degrees on Saturday.
Strong winds expected from the incoming Arctic blast will mean it will feel far colder – at times as low as zero!
The Arctic blast is expected to bring snow, gale force winds and wintry showers to the north of England whereas people in the South are being urged to prepare for very cold, albeit sunny days ahead.

Met Office forecaster Luke Miall said:
“An Arctic Maritime Air Mass is coming down by Friday and we will see a plunge in the temperatures bringing cold winds across the UK.
“It will be much colder and in the North you will see it go down to around 7C and 10C in the South.”
