PC Jess Hopton said: “We believe the incident happened at approximately 10.45pm and more than one person was involved. The front steel door was drilled through and searches were carried out inside the premises where vehicle keys were stolen. Various items of plant machinery were also stolen and loaded into one of the company vans, which was then stolen. It is possible that the offenders went back to the property for a second time to steal more items.

“We have been carrying out extensive enquiries in relation to this burglary and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between 10pm and 1.30am.

“A high number of valuable items were stolen and we are really keen to locate them, and find those responsible.”
