Not a week goes by lately without one of the big supermarkets kindly dishing out hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers to the public via WhatsApp or text message and all down to it being your lucky day.
Maybe you got out of the right side of the bed or maybe even saw those two magpies on your way to work, wow you are lucky…
Or maybe it is just another one of those scams!
If you have been fortunate enough to receive the latest message about a £250 voucher to celebrate Asda’s 68th birthday, ignore it.
ASDA, which is owned by Walmart, have also issued a statement advising people to steer clear of the message and the link you are being asked to click to claim your voucher.
For the record 2017 is ASDA’s 52nd anniversary after being founded in 1965.
