Wiltshire Police is appealing for information as to the whereabouts of two stolen bicycles – one being a high-spec road model.
Unknown offender(s) took a mountain bike and a road bike similar to the one in the photograph between 11pm on Sunday 12 February 2017 and 6.30am on Monday 13 February 2017 from a garage on Stonehenge Road, Wichelstowe, Swindon.
PC Jonathan Kilburn said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has seen a bike like this for sale or who may have heard or seen something suspicious in this area between these times.
“I would also like to remind people of basic security advice:
1. Lock garages and outbuilding at all times even if it’s only for a few minutes unattended.
2. Hide keys for the car, garage and house inside the home somewhere which would not be obvious to a burglar.
3. If you see any suspicious person or activity in the hours of darkness, report this to police asap so officers can focus patrols accordingly.”
If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Jonathan Kilburn on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111. Contact can also be made via e-mail: 2595@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk
