Boris Johnson is expected to announce an easing of restrictions this afternoon following on from Scotland’s lead.
Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has today confirmed that friends and family can meet outside from tomorrow.
The Scottish government have added the following restrictions:
- Although people from two different households can meet, they must keep two metres apart
- People should stay at home as much as possible
- Anyone meeting up with other households should do so in groups of no more than eight people
- We should not meet people from more than one other household each day.
