A serious crash on the A417 in Gloucestershire involving at least two vehicles has left the road closed this morning with motorists being diverted back the opposite side of the carriageway.
Emergency services are in attendance and it is understood one person has been taken to hospital in Bristol with serious injuries after the accident just past Cirencester at 8.45 this morning.
Another man has been described as ‘walking wounded’ after the incident.
Road closures are currently in place whilst the police investigate the collision.
