Big Feastival Counts Down to Summer Return with New Music, Food and Family Attractions

With just 100 days to go until gates open, Big Feastival has unveiled a fresh wave of artists, DJs, chefs and entertainment for this summer’s event in the Cotswolds.

The popular food and music festival, presented by Monzo, returns to Blur bassist Alex James’ farm from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August, bringing together headline live music, top chefs and family entertainment across a packed bank holiday weekend.

This year’s headline acts include Basement Jaxx, The Streets and Bastille, with festival organisers promising one of the biggest editions yet.

New additions announced this week include several high-profile names joining the much-loved Cheese Hub line-up. Dance music favourites Seb Fontaine and Tall Paul will return with their Syrup Takeover, while DJ Spoony, Simon Pegg and Capital Breakfast presenter Chris Stark are also set to perform.

BBC Radio 1 presenters Sarah Story and Connor Coates will both make their Cheese Hub debuts, while festival founder Alex James is also expected behind the decks alongside special guests.

The Outpost stage, introduced last year, is also returning with another late-night programme of live music and entertainment. Acts announced include Marley, Riding The Low, Maya Lane, Jack Rideout and Jonny Morgan & The Support, alongside returning crowd favourite Indie Disco Karaoke.

Festival organisers have also confirmed details of this year’s dining experiences, with immersive fire-cooking events and communal feasts once again taking centre stage.

Pit Kitchen will host the Thursday Night Feast and Lazy Lunch sessions, while evening Fire Pit Feasts will feature guest chefs including Goldies, Josh Eggleton and Mel Brown across the weekend.

The food line-up remains one of the festival’s biggest draws, with Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan heading to the Big Kitchen stage alongside Anna Haugh, Emily English, Rachel Allen, Poppy O’Toole, Meera Sodha and Sally Abe.

Comedy and podcast fans are also well catered for, with Joel Dommett, Suzi Ruffell and Ivo Graham among those appearing at The Exchange. Inbetweeners stars Joe Thomas and James Buckley will also record a live edition of their podcast Fact Up during the weekend.

Families remain firmly at the heart of the festival, with organisers promising activities and entertainment for all ages. Younger visitors can enjoy appearances from Justin Fletcher, MC Grammar, Nick Cope and the Taskmaster Club, alongside interactive activities and themed discos.

Big Feastival has become one of the South West’s biggest summer events, combining live music, street food, celebrity chefs and family attractions in a relaxed countryside setting.

Tickets, camping passes and full event details are available through Big Feastival’s official website.
