Swindon St George are set to make their long-awaited home debut in the Midland Premier Rugby League today.
The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Greenbridge Road and promises to be an exciting spectacle as the Dragons take on the Birmingham Bulldogs.

Despite a challenging start to the season with a tough match against Oxford, the Dragons showed immense potential in their second-half performance. Although they were initially overwhelmed by the home side’s early onslaught, the team regrouped during the break, tightening their defence and sharpening their attacking strategies. Head coach Richard White will be looking for more of the same resilience and determination as optimism continues to build within the camp.
This match offers the first opportunity for home fans to witness the 2024 Powerwash Dragons in action. Among the players to watch is 17-year-old Ty Lehman, who delivered a stellar man-of-the-match performance against Oxford in his senior debut. Lehman has risen through the ranks of Swindon St George’s junior pathway, marking a significant milestone as the first local youngster to make such a leap.
The game will take place at Swindon Rugby Club, and admission is free.
The club bar will be open throughout the match and afterwards, providing a perfect setting for spectators to enjoy the fast-paced and thrilling nature of Rugby League. All fans and newcomers are welcome to join and support the team in what promises to be an exhilarating encounter.
