You can now find out how many people have died in your part of town from coronavirus

This interactive map provided by the Office of National Statistics allows you to see how many people have died in each postcode area from coronavirus.

The map includes all deaths which occurred between March 1st and April 17th, and were registered by April 18th.

A death is included if ‘coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor’.

The point on the map doesn’t show the exact location of death, it signals the centre of the local area which they represent.
